Harvey Nichols is coming to Skegness
(for their gins)
JUNE 2021: Spirit of Stonewall based at Skegness Distillery, launches its range of LGBTQ+ gins into Harvey Nichols and partners with the luxury retailer to run a series of Cocktail Masterclasses and an exclusive Pride Cocktail.
The Stonewall Spirits brand was created by the Skegness based family business to raise money for LGBTQ+ charities and campaign to achieve acceptance and equality. Stonewall ‘Drink & Donate’ sends £1 from every bottle or pack directly to LGBTQ+ charities such as StonewallUK.
To celebrate Pride, Harvey Nichols will be launching a series of ticketed Cocktail Masterclasses featuring three classics; Negroni, Bramble and Pornstar Martini, all with a Stonewall Gin twist.
To coincide with local Pride events across the UK, Harvey Nichols customers will be able to get their hands on Stonewall Gin’s take on Pornstar Martini, the DragStar Martini – made with its Passionfruit & Mango Gin, a splash of lemon juice, passionfruit liqueur, sugar syrup and pineapple juice, served with a shot of Harvey Nichols Prosecco, available in selected bars.

- Bristol – Thursday 8th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th July
- Leeds – Friday 30th and Saturday 31st July & Sunday 1st August
- Edinburgh – Friday 27th & Saturday 28th August
- Birmingham – Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September
The full range of gins by Spirit of Stonewall; London Dry, Rhubarb, Raspberry, and Passionfruit & Mango, are currently available in selected Harvey Nichols stores and online RRP £39.

Inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Riots the brand retells the story of the Stonewall Inn and the Stonewall Riots that took place at the gay bar in Grennwich Village, New York. The NYPD’s oppressive harassment of the gay community culminated in a raid on the bar one night in June 1969 but this time customers fought back and barricaded the bar. Perfect Serve – The flagship product, Stonewall London Dry, is lovingly created and produced in Lincolnshire using a basket of carefully selected botanicals including coastal sea buckthorn berries, liquorice and orange peel. The flavour created is a light extra smooth citrus flavour with the perfect serve suggested as follows: A large copa gin glass the largest single chunk of ice, 50ml Stonewall London Dry, a Fever Tree Indian Tonic, a slice of lime and a slice of pink grapefruit, general heat a sprig of rosemary to release some oils and place on side of glass to garnish.
